General Manager's Letter June 2014

JUNE 2014

As most of you know we have just completed a year and a half-long series of remodel projects that has literally changed the face of the St. James Place.  We did the pool just over a year ago and the lobby and exterior paint last summer. We just finished (yesterday!) the last phase of these projects with the hallway painting, texturing, new carpet and the elevator cabs that service Phase III. All of these projects were completed on time at budget and the St. James Place is without a doubt the premier multi-use building in all of Beaver Creek if not Colorado!

As evidence of that last statement the St. James Place is the #1 rated specialty property on Tripadvisor and we have been for just over a year and for the second year in a row we have received their coveted Certificate of Excellence!  We also continue to be an RCI Gold Crown property as well as an Interval International Premier Property.  We have held both of these top ratings for well over a decade.

I would like to thank your elected officials who worked tirelessly on these projects.  They spent an extraordinary amount of time and energy to make these improvements in such a fashion that they would most certainly enhance your investment and present the St. James Place with new vibrant and exciting look.

I would also like to mention that your Management Company, Vail Resorts and Beaver Creek Resort Properties remits 8% of every dollar received in rental revenue back to your HOA. This returned approximately $2,500,000 to your community over the last 10 years which has also helped make these projects possible.

On behalf of my staff and your elected officials we hope that these upgrades will bring added enjoyment to you and your families and we hope to see all of you soon.
