Whether you visit in the Winter or Summer, there is fun to be had all around Beaver Creek

At the gate, you leave everyday life behind. That's why people travel to Beaver Creek, Colorado, and many make it a tradition. The drama of rock and sky, the sheer grandeur of this place, is one reason. That it is North America's World Cup mountain is another. You don't simply have to ski in Colorado to enjoy everything Beaver Creek has to offer. 


Skiing

No matter what your skiing ability is, you can find the perfect terrain at Beaver Creek.  From the gentle, manicured slopes of Bachelor Gulch, to the open intermediate trails of Larkspur or Rose Bowl, to the steep bumps of Grouse Mountain, skiers will feel right at home on our mountain.

 

Golf

Beaver Creek is home to three championship golf courses; Beaver Creek Golf Club, and Red Sky Ranch Norman and Fazio courses.  St. James owners and guests get special access to these prestigious courses.  Spectacular public courses also span the length of the valley with over 7 to choose from.  

 

River Rafting

Blessed with the amazing snow pack in the winter leads to raging rivers in the spring and summer for some of the best whitewater rafting in the country.  With trips running through the scenic Glenwood Canyons, soak in the views and take the plunge for an incredible experience of a lifetime. 

 
 

 

Fishing

Nordic Center - Snowshoeing & Cross Country Skiing

McCoy Park which is accessed via The Strawberry Park Lift - Chair 12, is considered to be one of Beaver Creeks best kept secrets and features 32-plus kilometers of groomed and rustic trails for Cross Country skiing and Snowshoeing. Nestled between Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch villages, McCoy Park offers spectacular views of 3 mountain ranges. You can rent all of the most up to date equipment or take lessons and guided tours of this pristine mountainside.  


Children's Ski and Ride School

Beaver Creek has the "Ivy League" of Ski and Snowboard School, where you will learn from the best on a World Cup mountain.  There are many choices of private lessons for the entire family or group child and adult lessons to cater to your experience level.

 

Horseback Riding

You don't have to go very far feel like a real Colorado Cowboy/girl.  Take the gondola up the the Beaver Creek Stables and choose between a short 1-2 hour ride or really get adventurous with an all day lunch or dinner ride to Beano's Cabin.  Their experienced wranglers will guide you through some of the most scenic parts of Beaver Creek mountain.  

 

Mountain Biking

Beaver Creek Sports offers a variety of bike equipment and gear to suit your entire family. They offer full-suspension, cruisers, and junior bikes in Beaver Creek Village and then full-suspension, cruiser, junior, Burleys, road, and electric bikes from the Westin Riverfront location.  There are trails for everyone on the Beaver Creek mountain.

Experience the mountains in a whole new light, the Beaver Creek hiking center specializes in guided interpretive nature hikes and mountain bike tours for all ages and desires. Whether hiking Beaver Creek Mountain, to a pristine high alpine lake, through a field of wildflowers or summiting one of Colorado’s coveted 14,000ft peaks - the hiking center offers something for everyone.
