Building Security – The building is locked nightly at 9:00 p.m. Your unit key will provide access to the building. We ask that you do not prop open doors leading into St. James Place. Your arriving guests may call directly to your unit from the phone at the main entrance to the building by dialing the unit number. Plaza level units 1-9 are preceded by a 50 (for example, Plaza 1 is extension 501) and units 10-11 are preceded only by a 5 (510, 511).
Concierge Desk - Available 8am - 6pm for guest services such as dinner reservations, taxi/shuttle services, Horseback Riding, Jeep/Rafting Trips, etc… please call the concierge at Ext. 162.
Please be aware that when making reservations. Activities, etc… a cancellation penalty may apply if the reservation is not used. In some cases the reservation becomes nonrefundable as soon as it is booked. We will do our best to make sure that you are aware of the specific policy for each booking, but any penalties are charged directly by the business and are outside out control.
Departure - Check out time is strictly at 10am, we cannot accommodate any late checkouts. Start your dishwasher with all dirty dishes. Remove trash & recycling (chute/recycling by the double elevators on each floor in front of the #11 units). Don’t forget bathroom and bedroom trash. Remove all items from the fridge and freezer. Gather all used towels by the front door. Thank you!
Emergency Contact – In the event of a medical, fire or police emergency dial 9-911.
Exercise Equipment – Must be reserved and have a signed waiver on file. The Fitness center is open from 7:30 AM – 9 PM. The exercise facility is located across the courtyard from the lobby on the right. You can also access it by the elevators across from condos ending in 27. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the equipment. Appropriate shoes are required.
Fax Service – For your convenience, fax service is available through the Front Desk. A fee of $0.50 per page for incoming and $1.00 per page for outgoing fax messages will be charged to your unit. Our fax number is (970) 845-0099.
Fire Extinguishers – Fire extinguishers are located in the pantry adjacent to the kitchen or under the kitchen sink.
Front Desk Hours - The Front Desk is available 24 hours, please dial ext. 177 for assistance.
Ice – The ice machine is located on the pool level, PC. For staff use only, please call to request ice.
Internet Access – High speed wireless internet access is available in all units. Guest computer and printer located in the lobby. Wi-fi password: sjp12345
Maid Service – Partial services available only by request. Guests are not be allowed in the unit while service is performed. You are responsible for your dishes and trash removal. Please call front desk to schedule. Housekeeping services are provided between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Message Notification - All units are equipped with a voice mail system. To retrieve your messages please dial 555. Press “7” or “P” to play and “3” or “D” to delete the message. To retrieve messages from outside your unit please call St. James Place at (970) 845-9300. We will connect you with your room number, then dial “*” when you hear the message. From there listen to the options that the automated system gives you to play and delete your messages.
Non Smoking Facility - The St. James Place is a non-smoking facility, we are very serious about maintaining a healthy environment. A $500 fine WILL BE imposed for any violation of the smoking ban.
Parking – Underground guest parking is located in 'PB' Garage. Upon check-in you will be given parking pass and instructions. A room key is required to enter the building from the garage. You are allowed one parking space per unit. If you require additional parking, please speak to the Front Desk. Please do not park in the spot marked for PL2. There is an orange sign right above the spot. Any vehicles illegally parked will be towed.
Pets – In accordance with the Rules and Regulations of St. James HOA, timeshare owners, transient guests and exchanges are not allowed to bring pets onto the property.
Pool/Indoor & Outdoor Hot Tub – Must register at the front desk and sign a waiver. The pool and spa areas are open from 7:00AM until 9:30PM. An adult must accompany children under the age of 12.Pool key and towels are located at the front desk. Reservations are for 30 minutes, please limit outdoor hot tub use to 15 minute period. Glass is prohibited in all pool areas. NO LIFEGUARD IS ON DUTY.

Recycling – Bins are located underneath the kitchen counter as well as by the trash chutes on each level.
Rollaway Beds – Rollaway beds and mattresses are available upon request from the front desk. There is a $25.00 per night charge per rollaway. Limited quantity available.
Safe Deposit Boxes – Available at the Front Desk if not in your room. Directions are located on the safe. If you forget your combination the Front Desk can only open it between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Sports Equipment Storage – Ski lockers are available for additional storage. Please inquire at the Front Desk. St. James Place is not responsible for items left unattended. Hotel rooms/Lock off units are not equipped with ski lockers.
Telephone Service – To dial local numbers from your unit, please dial 9 followed by the number. To direct dial long distance, please dial 9-1-followed by the area code and number. To place credit card calls, dial 9-0. To call another unit, dial that unit’s number. Our “lock off” units have independent telephone extensions. To contact a guest in a lock off unit, dial 3 digit room number and add “1” at the end, (Unit 106A = extension 1061). For additional assistance please call the Front Desk. Access information for long distance carriers is located in the Guests Services Directory in your unit. There is a $1.00 charge for all local, operator assisted, credit card, information calls and toll-free calls.
Transportation – Complimentary shuttle service that is available in Beaver Creek from 6:00 a.m. until midnight. The shuttle will pick you up and drop you off at your convenience in Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch. Download the Village Connect App, at this moment they are not taking any phone call reservation.
Vending Machines – Sodas, snack items and laundry soap are located in the Vending Machine room on the 1st floor.
